Ajani Steadfast

Three generic, one white legendary planeswalker – Ajani – 4 Loyalty Counters – Mythic Rare

+1: Until end of turn, up to one target creature gets +1/+1 and gains first strike, vigilance, and lifelink.

−2: Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control and a loyalty counter on each other planeswalker you control.

−7: You get an emblem with “If a source would deal damage to you or a planeswalker you control, prevent all but 1 of that damage.”

Alharu, Solemn Ritualist

Ancestral Blade

One generic, one white mana artifact – Equipment – Common

When Ancestral Blade enters the battlefield, create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token, then attach Ancestral Blade to it.

Grand Abolisher

Two white creature – Human Cleric – 2/2 – Rare

During your turn, your opponents can’t cast spells or activate abilities of artifacts, creatures, or enchantments.

Grasp of Fate

One generic, two white mana enchantment – Rare

When Grasp of Fate enters the battlefield, for each opponent, exile up to one target nonland permanent that player controls until Grasp of Fate leaves the battlefield. (Those permanents return under their owners’ control.)

Grateful Apparition

One generic, one white creature – Spirit – 1/1 – Uncommon

Flying

Whenever Grateful Apparition deals combat damage to a player or planeswalker, proliferate. (Choose any number of permanents and/or players, then give each another counter of each kind already there.)

Harsh Mercy

Two generic, one white mana sorcery – Rare

Each player chooses a creature type. Destroy all creatures that aren’t of a type chosen this way. They can’t be regenerated.

Heavenly Blademaster

5 generic, one white creature – Angel – 3/6 – Rare

Flying, double strike

When Heavenly Blademaster enters the battlefield, you may attach any number of Auras and Equipment you control to it.

Heliod, God of the Sun

Three generic, one white mana legendary enchantment creature – God – 5/6 – Mythic Rare

Indestructible

As long as your devotion to white is less than five, Heliod isn’t a creature. (Each white mana in the mana costs of permanents you control counts toward your devotion to white.)

Other creatures you control have vigilance.

Kirtar's Wrath

Destroy all creatures. They can't be regenerated.

Threshold – If seven or more cards are in your graveyard, instead destroy all creatures, then create two 1/1 white Spirit creature tokens with flying. Creatures destroyed this way can't be regenerated.

Knighted Myr

Two generic, one white mana artifact creature – Myr Knight – 2/2 – Common

Two generic, one white mana: Adapt 1. (If this creature has no +1/+1 counters on it, put a +1/+1 counter on it.)

Whenever one or more +1/+1 counters are put on Knighted Myr, it gains double strike until end of turn.

Land Tax

One white enchantment – Mythic Rare

At the beginning of your upkeep, if an opponent controls more lands than you, you may search your library for up to three basic land cards, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle.

Losheel, Clockwork Scholar

Two generic, one white mana legendary creature – Elephant Artificer – 2/4 – Uncommon

Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to attacking artifact creatures you control.

Whenever one or more artifact creatures enter the battlefield under your control, draw a card. This ability triggers only once each turn.

Read ahead (Choose a chapter and start with that many lore counters. Add one after your draw step. Skipped chapters don’t trigger. Sacrifice after III.)

Loyal Retainers

Sacrifice Loyal Retainers: Return target legendary creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. Activate only during your turn, before attackers are declared.

Loyal Unicorn

Three generic, one white mana creature – Unicorn – 3/4 – Uncommon

Vigilance

Lieutenant — At the beginning of combat on your turn, if you control your commander, prevent all combat damage that would be dealt to creatures you control this turn. Other creatures you control gain vigilance until end of turn.

Mace of the Valiant

Equipped creature gets +1/+1 for each charge counter on Mace of the Valiant and has vigilance.

Theros is back in the Enduring Enchantments deck, but with a twist. This deck's commander, Anikthea, Hand of Erebos, lets you take your non-Aura enchantments and turn them into zombie creatures, while maintaining their usual effects. Considering how many tax effects and stax pieces there are in white, black, and green, having hordes of token copies of them on the board could prove devastating.

Backing up Anikthea we have Narci, Fable Singer. This is a more traditional Enchantress-style effect, drawing you cards, but also rewards you for completing expensive Sagas by draining your opponents' life whenever you clear the final chapter. We've had a lot of Saga-friendly commanders in the last two years, with Tom Bombadil in the last set being the latest, so it'll be interesting to see if Narci ever really shines as her own commander, or whether she's consigned to be one of the 99 forever.

Whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, you may create a token that's a copy of it. Do this only once each turn.

Cacophony Unleashed

Five generic, two black enchantment – Rare

When Cacophony Unleashed enters the battlefield, if you cast it, destroy all nonenchantment creatures.

Whenever Cacophony Unleashed or another enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, until end of turn, Cacophony Unleashed becomes a legendary 6/6 Nightmare God creature with menace and deathtouch. It's still an enchantment.

Demon of Fate's Design

Four generic, two black enchantment creature – Demon – 6/6 – Rare

Flying, trample

Once during each of your turns, you may cast an enchantment spell by paying life equal to its mana value rather than paying its mana cost.

Two generic, one black, sacrifice another enchantment: Demon of Fate's Design gets +X/+0 until end of turn, where X is the sacrificed enchantment's mana value.

Ghoulish Impetus

Two generic, one black enchantment – Aura – Rare

Enchant creature

Enchanted creature gets +1/+1, has deathtouch, and is goaded.

When enchanted creature dies, return Ghoulish Impetus to the battlefield a that beginning of the next end step.

Talk about a deep cut. Commodore Guff is a long-dead character in Magic, who once stopped a Phyrexian invasion by merely writing the invasion out of existence in his magic book. Having him come back here as a planeswalker-focused commander is a slam-dunk for the flavour of Commander Masters. Here, he primarily serves as ramp for casting planeswalkers, while giving you a nice pay-off for having lots of them in play with big damage and card draw.

Alongside Commodore Guff, we've got Leori, Sparktouched, a creature who we last saw as Lukka's animal partner in Ikoria. Here, she serves as an ability doubler for planeswalker loyalty abilities, which could be hugely powerful when combined with planeswalkers like The Wandering Emperor, The Eternal Wanderer, or any of the various wildly powerful Teferi cards out there.

Teyo, Geometric Tactician

Two generic, one white legendary planeswalker – Teyo – 3 Loyalty Counters – Rare

When Teyo, Geometric Tactician enters the battlefield, create a 0/4 white Wall creature token with defender and flying.

+1: You and target opponent each draw a card.

-2: Choose left or right. Until your next turn, each player may attack only the nearest opponent in the last chosen direction and Planeswalkers controlled by that opponent.

Sparkshaper Visionary

Two generic, one blue creature – Human Wizard – 0/5 – Rare

At the beginning of combat on your turn, choose any number of target planeswalkers you control. Until end of turn, they become 3/3 blue Bird creatures with flying, hexproof, and "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, scry 1." (They're no longer planeswalkers. Loyalty abilities can still be activated.)

Vronos, Masked Inquisitor

Three generic, two blue legendary planeswalker – Vronos – 5 Loyalty Counters – Rare

+1: Up to two other target planeswalkers you control phase out at the beginning of the next end step.

-2: For each opponent, return up to one target nonland permanent that player controls to its owner's hand.

-7: Targe artifact you control becomes a 9/9 Construct artifact creature and gains vigilance, indestructible, and "This creature can't be blocked."

Chanda, Legacy of Fire

At the beginning of your end step, Chandra, Legacy of Fire deals X damage to each opponent, where X is the number of Planeswalkers you control.

+1: Add one red for each planeswalker you control

+0: Remove a loyalty counter from each of any number of permanents you control. Exile that many cards from the top of your library. You may play them this turn.

Guff Rewites History

Two generic, one red instant – Rare

For each player, chose target nonenchantment, nonland permanent that player controls. Those permanents' owners shuffle them into their libraries. Each player who controlled one of those permanents exiles card from the top of their library until they exile a nonland card, then puts the rest on the bottom of their library in a random order. Each player may cast the nonland card they exiled without paying its mana cost.

Jaya's Phoenix

Four generic, one red creature – Phoenix – 3/3 – Rare

Flying, haste

Whenever Jaya's Phoenix deals combat damage to a player or planeswalker, copy the next loyalty ability you activate this turn when you activate it. You may choose new targets for the copy.

Slivers are one of Magic's most iconic creature types. Designed to synergise heavily with each other, the more of them you play, the more powerful the entire horde gets. However, Sliver Swarm offers up a different take on the archetype, with copies of Slivers – something that rarely matters – being made from your graveyard using the Swarm Gravemother's encore-granting ability.

As the secondary commander, we have Rukarumel, Biologist. The wording on this card can be slightly confusing, but in effect it's a catch-all typal commander that ensures all your nontoken creatures are the same creature type. The Sliver bit is a nice added bonus, but the ability to ensure every single creature in your deck is one type will open up the Okapi decks we've always dreamed of.

Sliver creatures you control have afflict 2. (Whenever a creature with afflict 2 becomes blocked, defending player loses 2 life.)

Whenever a nontoken Sliver you control does, amass Slivers 2. (Put two +1/+1 counter on an Army you control. It's also a Sliver. If you don't control an Army, create a 0/0 black Sliver Army creature token first.)

Capricious Sliver

Sliver creatures you control have "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, exile the top card of your library. You may play that card this turn."

Descendants' Fury

Whenever one or more creatures you control deal combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice one of them. If you do, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card that shares a creature type with the sacrificed creature.
